Planning your content this year is pivotal. I know, I know. I’ve been on a soapbox about this for years. But I’m so serious! Did you know that only 40% of businesses have a documented content strategy or plan? 😱

Just imagine!

That means 60% of small businesses don’t have an actual written plan for their content. That, my friends, is what we call a set-up for disaster. But this also means you can get ahead of your competition simply by writing your plan down!

So that’s our homework for this week - WRITE THE PLAN AND MAKE IT PLAIN, as the Good Word says.

Creating, documenting, and evaluating your content marketing strategy is what will set you apart this year. Not only that, it helps you to measure success!

EXPERIENCE IS KEY IN THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

It’s one thing to have an imaginative understanding of a subject matter and it’s another thing to have experienced it! For example, I’m seeing many social media “experts” online that don’t have actual experience in constructing successful social campaigns.
