Branding in the Age of Digital Experience Economy

For those who don’t know, I work in a high school as an advisor and I will say this — NOBODY CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO MARKET BETTER THAN A 13-17 year old. These days they aren’t looking at the countless, colorful flyers pasted on classroom walls, hallways or bathroom stalls! Students are looking at their cell phone screens anticipating a snap notification or text message. In order to get my students to adhere to my instructions, to attend a program, or take advantage of an opportunity I have to market it to them — literally. I spend countless hours writing copy that will make them feel compelled to do what I want them to and to feel inspired as well.

This is the future of our world — where everything will eventually be digital first. So how are YOU preparing for it?

Today, we’re in the age of the digital experience economy where a growing number of the world is becoming more digital and mobile-centric meaning people are informed, have more control over what they see, and have higher expectations of content creators, businesses, and anyone who is looking to create awareness. This week’s content is focused on branding. What the hell is it, right? Because it’s not just the generic stuff that everyone keeps saying like “it’s what people say when you’re not in the room.” It’s so much more than that, especially if you’re in business.

Stay tuned for an IG Takeover by the digital marketing manager of Create&Cultivate, an interview by a marketing executive, and so much more!
