About the Project: Homemade Goods to Luxury Branding

Seasoned by the Sun is a CBD skincare brand created by Laura Badia. As a healthcare professional with roots in the Dominican Republic, Laura loves to create healthy solutions for her community. To change the stigma around  “Black people only selling handmade products” she teamed up with skincare experts to meticulously craft the formula for her CBD glow serum. She came to us, looking for brand development support and to create a vision for products that would look beautiful on store shelves.

Solutions

Every business needs a cohesive look and feel. From their social media pages to their internal documents, their brand and story should reinforce who they are and what they stand for. Our strategy for SBTS was to research and develop an ideal customer persona to create key messaging, colors, fonts, and a logo design that would connect with their audience and align with their values. 

Results 

We designed a logo that was a mix of luxury and professional because products are considered low to mid-luxury. We also developed a brand kit as a guideline for how Laura and her team members could communicate her newly designed brand on social, additional team members or subcontractors, and product labels.
