  4. Workbar’s Small Business Grant Contest

    The Workbar’s Small Business Grant Contest will award $5,000 to help minority founders thrive in the Greater Boston area and to provide an opportunity to raise funds and get the business support they deserve.   6. Verizon Small Business Digital Ready

  8. Hiring Our Heroes’ Small Business Grant Program

    Hiring Our Heroes’ Small Business Grant Program will honor the achievements of veteran- and military spouse-owned small businesses, highlighting their impact and contributions to local communities and America’s economic growth. The program will award five such businesses with a one-time cash grant to be used to grow and support their business–four businesses will receive a $10,000 grant, and one business will receive a $25,000 grant. This program was made possible through the generosity of the FedEx Founder’s Fund, part of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.

    The Independent Lens Creator Lab is a six-month program for six standout vertical video makers, offering production funding, mentorship, and industry support to develop bold new storytelling approaches—from serialized shorts to narrated experiences—that reimagine what public media can be. Over the course of the Creator Lab you will produce up to 12 videos for Independent Lens/PBS social media platforms.

    The Founder Fellowship (VHNYC) is a 14-week hybrid program for early-stage, underrepresented founders in New York City building high-growth tech or tech-enabled startups. Participants join a tight cohort of 15 founders, receive a $10,000 non-dilutive business grant, and gain access to expert-led workshops, community events, and potential future investment.   22. AMEX Shop Small Grants Program

    To help small businesses grow, innovate, and support their local communities, American Express is teaming up with Main Street America this Small Business Saturday® to launch the Amex Shop Small Grants Program.   25. Neurodiverse Entrepreneur Program

    The goal of the Neurodiverse Entrepreneur Program (NDEP) is to increase business leadership opportunities for people with developmental and/or cognitive differences such as autism, dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD and other related diagnoses. Companies with neurodiverse leaders serve as role models for future entrepreneurs while illustrating that neurodiversity can be a strength and an asset for other firms.
