BOMESI Accelerator - Cohort 5
BOMESI exists to strengthen the business side of diverse-owned media, building sustainable companies and a stronger media ecosystem. The network reaches more than 400 Black-owned media companies and 2,500 diverse-owned media companies, and we support them through an annual Summit, a cohort-based Accelerator, a media database that connects media buyers to independent outlets, and a series of webinars, trainings, and resources to increase the capacity and knowledge base of our community.

2026 Toast Changemakers Program
Running a restaurant takes a relentless amount of work; yet many restaurant owners and operators show up every day, not just for their staff and paying guests, but for anyone in their community who is hungry. The Toast Changemakers Program, presented in partnership with Hello Alice and GEN, recognizes these inspiring leaders and provides the resources they need to do even more good while serving their communities. Through the Toast Changemakers Program, fifteen restaurant owners across the United States will each receive a $10,000 grant to expand or enhance the work they're already doing to address food insecurity in their communities.

Makers Mindset and The Equity Studio are partnering for the second year to champion early-stage female founders building the next generation of beauty and wellness consumer brands. Five brands will each receive a $10,000 equity-free grant, plus access to mentorship and visibility opportunities that help turn bold ideas into sustainable businesses. Massachusetts Grants for Creative Individuals
Mass Cultural Council believes creativity is the key to solving many of society’s concerns. Advancing this asset helps to make the Commonwealth a preeminent place in the nation for it to thrive. Grants for Creative Individuals are unrestricted grants of $5,000 to Massachusetts artists, culture bearers, and creative practitioners to equitably advance creative expression throughout our diverse communities.

Vimeo Short Film Grant
With the Vimeo Short Film Grant, Vimeo will provide $60,000 each in cash, mentorship, equipment, and other perks to support five filmmakers in the production of their next original short film. Launched in 2025, the Vimeo Short Film Grant will provide one-on-one sessions with celebrated filmmakers, access to select Panavision camera packages and OWC storage, one-on-one mentorship with the jury, screenings, distribution and promotion on Vimeo, and other perks. The grant is also supported by Panavision, OWC, AJA Video Systems, and ShotDeck.
