5. eosera® Foundation Pitch Competition
Elyse Stoltz Dickerson, CEO and co-founder of eosera®, got her start by winning a pitch competition in the early days of jump-starting her business. That's why she developed her own pitch competition through the eosera® Foundation. Each year, women founders are invited to apply to become a finalist in the eosera® Foundation Pitch Competition. In its fourth year, the competition has funded — and inspired — numerous amazing founders.

7. NYC BOSS UP Veterans
Boss Up, founded by Ron Moelis of L+M Development, provides grants and resources to entrepreneurs through a pitch competition for residents of public housing and veterans. The organization partners with the NYC Housing Authority, Department of Small Business Services, and Department of Veteran Services to run the program.
